The purpose of this support service is to enable people, often entrenched in a rough sleeping lifestyle, to take up the opportunity of a more settled way of life within their own accommodation to improve their health and wellbeing. The tenant's right to remain in their accommodation will be dependent on their adherence to the terms and conditions of their tenancy or license agreement. Whilst people will be strongly encouraged to engage with the Housing First Support Service, their right to remain in their accommodation will not be dependent on their engagement with this service. People will be adults, who have recourse to public funds and have a local connection. They will be people who have been homeless and sleeping rough in Milton Keynes and have a need for support. It is expected that many people will have a number of complex needs.
