Church Hill (C36.01) Culvert Repair Works Break out existing manhole cover & frame & replace with new. Break out existing step irons & replace with five new step irons & make good to chamber wall. Cut out tree roots from the invert of precast concrete culvert units & dispose of. Pack base of scoured abutment wall with concrete. Remove logs blocking main inlet pipe. Concrete repair to main & other inlet pipes. Repair spalling of soffit to precast concrete culvert units due to reinforcing bar corrosion. Repair to brick culvert soffit damage. Pack downstream end of culvert units with concrete filled sandbags. All work to be classified as confined spaces. Stagg Hill (C44.01) Culvert Repair Works Break out existing damaged benching to manhole & replace. Carry out concrete bag work to invert downstream of wing wall. Manhole work to be classified as confined space.
