## Summary

The Nottinghamshire County Council is initiating a pre-market engagement process titled "Ageing Well Care Home Services" aimed at refining the service provision for care homes as part of a broader strategy to support older individuals in their communities. The procurement focuses on health and social work services, with the engagement ending on 12th July 2021. This planning stage will allow the council to gather insights from providers regarding the design of a potential framework agreement, with all submissions to be made via eastmidstenders.org, where a questionnaire response form will be required.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses involved in health and social care services, particularly those focusing on elderly care solutions, to influence the development of this vital framework. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) would particularly benefit from participating, as their insights are sought to enhance service specifications that will ultimately support the independence of older people in the East Midlands. Engaging with this pre-market exercise could lead to potential contracts and growth in this evolving sector.

## Notice

A soft market testing exercise to canvas ideas and independent views on the potential shape and model of an Ageing Well Care Homes Framework Agreement. As a result of our local strategy to keep people in their own homes, fewer older people will be living in care homes. They will be supported in their own homes, or in supported accommodation such as Extra Care. Where a care home is deemed appropriate, older people will be supported to maintain their independence and to be a part of their community. The desired outcome of this exercise is for commissioners to obtain information and insight from Providers of this type of service provision in shaping the new contract/service specification. All information gathered from the Soft Market Testing will be carefully considered and analysed by the Commissioners. All Providers' responses will be anonymised and not shared with competitors for these services. Written submissions are requested from interested Providers in the form of a completed questionnaire. Responses should be made using the 'Questionnaire Response Form' and must be submitted via eastmidstenders.org Additional information: Further information for project reference DN549817 is available from www.eastmidstenders.org
