The purpose of this study is to therefore identify, develop and assess a long list of broad geographically focused opportunity areas that have placemaking prospects, economic growth, social bene-fit and environmental enhancement that without strategic intervention risks not being delivered. Given the early stage remit of the Strategic Development & Infrastructure Team, we are interested in looking at opportunities beyond the Local Plan stage, to influence future policy direction.
