## Notice

Background of Contract The Environment Agency (EA) has a statutory duty to protect the environment from pollution. In order to do this, staff across the Agency frequently require information and advice on chemicals and their effects on the environment. To meet this need, the Environmental Toxicology Advisory Services (ETAS) provides in house technical support to enquiries from staff across the Agency. Most enquiries relate to the fate and effects of chemicals on environmental receptors/human health as well as potential sources of chemicals in the environment. Requirement We are looking for a successful contractor who will establish and maintain the necessary resources and infrastructure to ensure the support service is available during office hours (i.e. 9am to 5pm), by phone or email, to respond to routine and emergency enquiries. As well as out-of-hours, 7 days a week, for emergency enquiries. This out-of-hours cover must be accessible by phone and email and is a key part of the service. If you are already providing this type of service or can do so and are interested in applying, please view the opportunity further on Bravo. Link in description.
