The service will ultimately form part of an integrated weight management offer, which will comprise a range of activities and support including, for example, cooking skills, parenting support, peer support etc. Our intention is to work in partnership with communities, adopting an iterative learning process that enables the gradual transfer of resources allowing them to play an incremental role in the provision of weight management support to their residents. We envisage that significant elements of this service will be developed over time, and we will therefore be writing a developmental service specification. This contract is for an initial period of 4 years and 11 months with a budget of up to PS2,250,000. There is also an option to extend for a further 3 years after the initial period. We expect potential contractors to meet a number of minimum standards; these are detailed in the ITT. We advise all interested contractors to read the entire ITT and all documents referenced or linked to within the ITT carefully, to inform themselves about the opportunity and whether they would be interested in submitting a response.
