## Summary

The procurement process involves Transport for London (TfL) as the buying organisation seeking a partner to provide services for the running, training, and management of the Tunnelling and Underground Construction Academy (TUCA) facilities located in London, United Kingdom. This tender falls under the planning stage and is focused on education and training services, with a total value of £2,500,000. Important dates include the engagement end date, which is set for 4th March 2019. The procurement method is classified as tender, and the objective is to align training services with the infrastructure and transport sector needs.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in education and training, particularly those specialising in construction and infrastructure skills. Companies that offer accredited training courses and have expertise in modern methods of construction would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. As TfL looks to broaden the curriculum and enhance training capabilities, businesses can leverage this opportunity to expand their service offerings and collaborate with a key player in the transport sector.

## Notice

The Tunnelling and Underground Construction Academy (TUCA) was established by Crossrail Limited in 2011 for the purpose of meeting the skills and training needs of the Crossrail Project. As the Crossrail programme draws to a close, TFL is keen to broaden the curriculum offer at the centre to align with training requirements on TfL's Property Development Programme with a focus on modern methods of construction, under the Mayor's Construction Academy (MCA). TfL is looking for a partner to manage, run and provide courses from the TUCA facility including apprenticeship programmes. The partner organisation will be required to deliver a range of commercial courses to meet the skills needs of the infrastructure and transport sector along with modern methods of construction. Any partner must be able to offer accredited courses. TfL will look to partner with an organisation that will prepare and publish a curriculum and associated prospectus which indicates the provision offer, training capacity, timings, courses structures, qualifications, group sizes, delivery of all courses. The partner will promote the facility as well as develop and manage website. In addition the Partner Organisation will work with industry, specialist and advanced technology manufacturers and contractors to develop a range of training provision relating to infrastructure, transport and construction sectors.
