This provision will enable growth in the number of registered staff to work in Primary Care/General Practice and provide consistency in training across the country. Other programmes are available for nurses in Primary Care/General Practice. However, this module is distinctly different and is aimed as either a pre-employment module, or as part of an induction for those already employed in another sector but wishing to move into Primary Care/General Practice.
