Nottingham City Council aim to procure a service to support people seeking asylum and refugees to access healthcare, register with a GP and dentist, make healthcare appointments, access translation services as needed for their appointments, book in for maternity care, and obtain HC2 certificates. The service will also signpost to other services as appropriate. The service should be easily accessible, offering face to face sessions and outreach work, engaging with GP practices and working with local community and voluntary sector partners to build understanding of the needs of people seeking asylum and refugees. The contract duration will be for 3 years with a possible extension of 2 years at the Council's discretion.
