## Summary

The NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit has completed the procurement process for developing a "Risk Stratification Algorithm Tool" aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery across NHS services in England. This procurement falls under the industry category of IT software development services, with a focus on clinical measurement within the NHS. The procurement method was a selective call-off from a framework agreement, specifically utilising NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit's Dynamic Purchasing System 2.0 - Lot 1. The tender stage concluded on 20th August 2025, with the award to Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC announced on 1st October 2025. The contract period is set to commence on 18th November 2025, running until 17th November 2026, and involves work primarily within Derby, England, under postal code DE1 3QT.

This contract presents significant business growth opportunities for companies that specialise in IT software development services with expertise in healthcare and NHS operations. It offers a particularly favourable environment for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), although it is less suited for voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). By engaging in this contract, businesses can leverage their experience in handling NHS data flows, as the project demands a robust risk stratification tool. Suppliers with a background in clinical evidence-based software development, familiar with integrating acute and primary care data, stand to gain by contributing to this initiative set by the NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit.
