The Department wish the platform to be user led, including establishing a framework for quality assuring content. Potential providers will be responsible for producing and commissioning user-tested content, over time, which reflects changes to statutory guidance and emerging evidence and practice on supporting children, including children with a social worker. The aim of the platform will be to: * signpost DSLs to the right evidence-based information to support children, including those on a Children in Need Plan, on a Child Protection Plan and Looked After Children. * provide a platform to share best practice and case studies, including on how to improve outcomes; * provide a forum for peer-to-peer support between DSLs; and * advertise a national forum with events for DSLs. The Department's expectation is that the solution should be a COTS product based on open standards that meets the needs of the users, and will be primarily low-code or zero code in nature.
