## Notice

The Council requires the Contractor to provide an effective and efficient Grounds Maintenance Service for schools in Somerset. All border and ornamental areas, hedges, and environmental areas are to be maintained in keeping with the site so that they are aesthetically pleasing. All playing fields facilities are to be maintained so that the Customer can obtain maximum use in accordance with the Specification and deliver the curriculum in full. The contract is for a three year period with the option of two, 2-year extensions subject to performance. The contract is divided into three geographical lots known as Area 1, Area 2 and Area 3.
