## Summary

The Defra Network eTendering Portal has completed the procurement process for the tender titled "EA Creative Content (RM3796)" in the multimedia networks industry category. This contract aims to provide high-quality, multi-media content in support of messaging related to the UK’s exit from the EU. The procurement was initiated under a selective procurement method with a call-off from a framework agreement. The tender period officially ended on 2nd May 2019, and the contract spans from 7th May 2019 to 6th May 2020. The procurement took place in London, England, where the Defra Network is located.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in creative content production and multimedia services, particularly those with experience in public sector communications. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) focusing on innovative content and digital communications would be well-suited to compete for future contracts in this space, as the process encourages their participation. With the ongoing need for effectively communicating complex issues surrounding governmental changes, businesses that can demonstrate agility and high-quality delivery will find ample opportunities for growth.

## Notice

Following our exit from the EU, we need to communicate with all of Defra group's sectors and stakeholders, along with the wider public, to ensure that they are well-informed on EU exit issues, understand what is or is not changing and where to get more guidance. Our messaging supports the department's strong vision for the future of the environment as set out in the government's 25 year Environment Plan. We need to put a call-off contract in place to ensure that we can commission high quality, multi-media content at pace to support our messaging on EU Exit work.
