This open tender, identified as WP3665, is expected to run until 12:00 on 8th December 2020, initiating the contract period from 4th January 2021 and concluding on 31st March 2023. Suppliers are required to provide free delivery within seven days of order placement to designated addresses in Walsall, including the Environmental Depot, and must also offer servicing and training for the equipment used in the delivery of these chemicals. As the procurement is open to suitably resourced suppliers, it invites participation from both small and larger enterprises offering innovative solutions in horticultural services and product delivery. ## Notice 1.1 Walsall Council is inviting bids from suitably resourced and experienced suppliers, for the provision of Horticultural and Amenity related chemicals. 1.2 The chemicals are for use by the Council's Clean and Green Services Section within the Borough of Walsall. 1.3 The Council cannot guarantee minimum or maximum requirements. A list of chemicals and approximate annual usage is provided in ITT D - D.06 Pricing Schedule. 1.4 The successful bidder will be required to provide FOC delivery within 7 days of each order being placed. 1.5 Delivery points will be located within the borough of Walsall, and will normally be: The Environmental Depot 200 Pelsall Road Brownhills Walsall WS8 7EN 1.6 The successful bidder will be required to provide FOC servicing and calibration, on an annual/pre-season basis, of the Council's 23 Nomix TDC spray lances, 40 batteries and 26 chargers. Quotations will need to be provided for any subsequent repairs that become necessary, for the Council to approve at its discretion. 1.7 The successful bidder will be required to provide FOC, an 8 hour day of training equally divided between 8 groups of 6 Council spraying technicians/operatives, on an annual/pre-season basis. The training must cover refresher familiarisation on how to use, adjust and clean the Nomix TDC spray lance systems, and cover the safe use of herbicides as well as any industry specific updates/news. The training must take place at the Council's Environmental Depot (Brownhills, WS8 7EN) at a date and time agreed by the Council's representative. For 2021, it is envisaged that the training will need to take place at either late February or Early March.
