## Summary

Plymouth City Council has initiated a public procurement process titled "Learning Provision for 16 to 19 Year Olds" aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and employability for young individuals aged 16 to 19, or up to 25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan. The procurement is classified under the education and training services category and is being executed through an open procedure method. The tender period concluded on 9 April 2019, while the contract, valued at £438,526, is scheduled to commence on 1 August 2019 and conclude on 31 July 2020. The procurement is set to take place in the South West region of the United Kingdom.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses focused on educational services, particularly those that cater to the unique needs of disadvantaged or minority groups. Companies specialising in employability training, work-related learning, or vocational education can position themselves strongly in this competitive landscape. Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to participate, as the initiative aims to foster inclusive education that equips young people with essential skills for their future careers.
