UEA expects to retain elements of maintenance provision which will be delivered by their internal team and the incoming contractor shall be expected to interface effectively with UEA internal teams. The authority expects to award the FM contract to commence on 15th November 2021 for a period of five years, with an option to extend the contract by 1 + 1 year(s). The authority is seeking reputable companies with a proven track record in directly delivering and managing technically demanding Facilities Management services to similar organisations. It is anticipated that all services will be underpinned by technology and robust policies and procedures, which will at all times reflect good industry practice within an environment of continuous improvement. The selected contractor's innovative approach will ensure resilient services to the authority and drive efficiencies resulting in optimised value for money. The selected contractor's partnership approach and effective communications will also ensure that there are good relations with all parties and that all potential synergies between the individual services are maximised.
