Brief Description of Requirement The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), part of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is the UK's national regulator for consumer products and legal metrology, is the Government policy lead on standards and accreditation, and also leads the UK's approach to regulatory delivery. As part of its role, and its position as a global leader in regulatory delivery, OPSS delivers international technical assistance focussed on regulatory reform on behalf of the Foreign, Commonwealth, And Development Office (amongst other partners), with an aim to support overseas partners to improve the way regulation is designed and delivered, improving the business environment, increasing business confidence to invest and grow, and ultimately helping to bring more people out of poverty. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria as set out in the ITQ document.
