## Summary

The Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust is leading the ERDF Wild Towns 'Access and Infrastructure' Tender, aimed at enhancing wildlife habitats across seven towns in Gloucestershire. This procurement process, currently in the Award stage, has a total contract value of £104,000, with a minimum value of £74,000. The contract period is set to commence on 8 April 2019 and conclude on 31 December 2020. Interested parties were required to submit tenders by the deadline of 19 March 2019. The project focuses on the construction of various infrastructural elements including footbridges, paths, and a sensory garden.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses in the landscaping, construction, and environmental sectors, particularly those with experience in public works and infrastructure projects. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) would be particularly well-positioned to compete for this contract, as the project aligns with community and environmental objectives that these businesses often seek to address. Additionally, firms with expertise in landscape design, ecological rehabilitation, and related services are encouraged to consider bidding, given the emphasis on improving ecological connectivity and habitat accessibility in the specified locations.
