Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to apply, especially as the ASL will allow for collaboration on blended service packages. ## Notice The Isle of Wight Council ("the Authority") invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to join an Approved Supplier List (ASL) for specialist homecare services on the Isle of Wight. The ASL shall comprise four Categories and Potential Suppliers can submit a Tender for one or more of the Categories. The Categories under this ASL are: * Specialist home-based care and support for people with dementia (ages 18+); * End of Life (including Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Fasttrack) care and support (ages 18+); * Live-In Care and Support (ages 18+); * Nurse led home-based care and support (ages 18+). The Term of the Approved Supplier List shall be 01 February 2021 (go live date) until 31 January 2029 with the option to extend for up to a further two years at the sole discretion of the Authority. The Authority intends to begin using the ASL for requirements as soon as the ASL goes live. The appointment of a Supplier to the ASL does not guarantee any volume of work for the Authority. Every Supplier appointed on to the ASL under this Category shall provide an innovative, high quality service to support individuals, who wish to remain in their home but who require care and support to do so, supporting people with Dementia or other memory and cognition diagnosis of all ages. All Supplier's appointed on to the Authority's ASL across all Categories shall ensure that they are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) at all times during the Term. In some cases, the Authority may need to procure a blended package of services covering one or more Categories. In this case, the Authority shall procure each package individually through the appropriate Lot and the successful suppliers will be expected to work together to ensure the successful delivery of the blended package. Additional information: The ASL shall reopen for new Suppliers to join annually. A Contract Notice will be published annually on the anniversary of the Go Live date and will remain open for a minimum of 30 calendar days for Suppliers to submit their application to join the ASL.
