## Summary

The Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) is seeking to enhance employer engagement with individuals having learning disabilities through the "Ignition Brewery Collaboration" project. Classified under general management consultancy services, this direct procurement method involved a single tender action valued at £9,600. The project is aimed at innovating work placements within the water sector, with an active contract period commencing on 1st December 2019 and concluding on 31st August 2020. The formal award announcement occurred on 20th November 2019, with the tender period having ended on 18th November 2019, all taking place in Birmingham, England.

This collaboration presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in consultancy services focused on diversity and inclusion, as well as organisations with expertise in workforce development for individuals with learning disabilities. Such businesses could contribute to the design and implementation of pilot programs and workshops aimed at facilitating employment for underrepresented groups. The scope of work detailed in the tender encourages innovative practices that can be scaled to benefit broader sectors, making it an enticing opportunity for SMEs with a commitment to social impact.
