## Summary

The NHS Shared Business Services is currently in the planning stage for a tender titled "Short-term Self-Isolation Accommodation for London COVID symptomatic Hostel Dwellers and Rough Sleepers." This procurement, categorised under health and social work services, aims to establish short-term residential accommodation in Greater London for individuals who are symptomatic of COVID-19. The immediate engagement period ends on 26th June 2020, with services expected to commence in July for a duration of three months, potentially extending until March 2021. The tender seeks suppliers who can provide either accommodation, supportive care, or both, with a requirement for up to six beds.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the health and social care sector, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). Companies that offer accommodation services or have experience in supportive care for vulnerable populations would be well-positioned to respond. Engaging promptly with the NHS commissioners can lead to fruitful partnerships, especially in a critical period where rapid deployment of services is essential to support COVID-affected individuals.
