## Summary

Nottingham Trent University is currently engaging in a pre-procurement market testing exercise for its Staff Learning eXperience platform. This planning stage is crucial for understanding the marketplace and confirming requirements prior to the formal procurement process. The engagement is set to conclude on 15th November 2019 at 23:59:59, and interested suppliers are encouraged to submit their responses by 15:00 on the same day. This initiative falls under the educational software package category and is located in Nottingham, within the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in educational technology and software solutions. Companies that can demonstrate innovative approaches to Learning eXperience Platforms (LXP) and those with experience in collaborating on educational projects would be well-suited to participate. Engaging in this early market engagement will not only allow businesses to showcase their capabilities but also provide insights that could influence the final procurement strategy of the University.

## Notice

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) wants to invite suppliers to participate in a pre-procurement market engagement or soft market testing exercise regarding the intended procurement of a staff Learning eXperience Platform (LXP). We wish to engage in discussions prior to formulating our final procurement strategy and finalising our requirements. This exercise is to help us to assess the maturity and depth of the marketplace and to understand what kinds of solutions could potentially meet our requirements. The process will also inform and scope the intended future procurement exercise, and help interested organisations understand our requirements. We welcome responses from organisations who feel that they can comment on the extent to which our requirements are reasonable, realistic and properly specified and who can also offer preliminary details of a solution that could potentially meet our requirements. If you feel your organisation can contribute to this exercise, please email david.bailey02@ntu.ac.uk to request a document containing further details. Please then provide responses to the questions in the document and return it via email to david.bailey02@ntu.ac.uk by 15:00 on the 15 November 2019. Following receipt and evaluation of the responses, and depending on the information obtained, we may invite a maximum of five respondents to attend separate open-dialogue workshop sessions to present and discuss their responses during week commencing 25th November. A decision will then be made internally on the best procurement approach to take. The expected formal procurement process will start only after completion of this pre-procurement market engagement or soft market testing exercise.
