The requirement is for the exact items to be supplied, and not alternative equivalents. The columns are regarded as critical items and are currently used in various validated test methods, and therefore are not changeable. We are looking to secure a supplier(s) who can offer these products at the best value. In addition to the columns, there is also a requirement for products: Bondelut C18 50mg (1ml) and Vial 1ml V-vial next gen clear 13-425 cap with Teflon liner. These two items are also regarded as critical and not changeable. Other HPLC consumables - The other consumables listed are used in HPLC testing activities but are regarded as not critical. These products can be replaced with an equivalent provided the specification requirements are the same. We are looking to secure a supplier(s) who can offer the exact, or an equivalent product, to the ones listed at the best value. If an equivalent product is offered we would expect the supplier to offer samples initially without cost to enable us to trial within our various testing activities for assay suitability. Potential suppliers if they feel they can meet the requirement should email Nawaz.habib@nibsc.org to register an interest.
