## Summary

The North of England Commissioning Support, working on behalf of multiple NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), is initiating a market engagement process for a Direct Access to Adult Hearing Service. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to better understand potential service delivery models within the health services industry, specifically in the North East of England. The engagement deadline is set for 12.00 noon on 1st June 2018, following the early notice published on 8th May 2018 as part of the planning stage of the procurement process.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs), to contribute to healthcare service models. Companies that specialise in audiology, hearing aids, or patient engagement services would find this RFI particularly relevant, as the CCGs are keen on enhancing patient choice, personalised care, and overall service quality in the adult hearing sector. Engaging with this process would allow businesses to influence future commissioning intentions and potentially secure contracts within the NHS network.
