Walsall Council is the accountable body for the Black Country European Social Fund (ESF) Technical Assistance Project which is part funded through the European Union's European Social Fund Programme 2014-2020 and the four Black Country Local Authorities (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton City Council). The next stage of the project (2018-2021) has received PS117,585 ESF monies plus PS117,585 matched funding. The purpose of the grant is to build on a central team for the Black Country able to assist significantly with the effective, compliant development and promotion of local ESF projects.
