Our 500 kN test machine has failed and we have taken the opportunity to evaluate our needs. We have decided to replace the existing machine with a machine with a similar capacity, but with a significantly longer stroke, to give us more flexibility. This is likely to result in changing from a servo-hydraulic machine, to an electromechanical machine, although any type of machine that meets the requirements would be considered.
