## Summary

The Crown Prosecution Service has awarded a contract for the provision of Digital Delivery Capability Partners with a total value of £50 million. The contract period runs from 19th December 2023 to 18th June 2025, with a possibility of extension by up to 4 x 12 months. The procurement method used was selective through a call-off from a framework agreement. Key technologies include AWS, Azure, .Net Core, C#, JavaScript, and SQL. The contract is aimed at IT services within the consulting, software development, Internet, and support industry category.

This tender by the Crown Prosecution Service represents an opportunity for businesses, especially those offering IT services and expertise in the specified technologies, to participate in the provision of digital delivery capabilities. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expert resources and capabilities to work to Agile methodologies are well-suited to compete for this contract. The quick response times and milestone-based delivery requirements make this tender suitable for businesses that can mobilise rapidly and focus on discoveries, user interface, and user experience development.

## Notice

CPS wishes to assemble a small panel of suppliers (maximum 3 initially) to provide a call off facility to assist with delivery of the in-scope items listed in section 5. The selected suppliers will be expected to respond rapidly (within 5 working days) to SOW issued by various Delivery Leads across the department. Each SOW will be for milestone-based delivery. Each SOW is likely to be for limited timeframes - between 6 weeks and 6 months typically although this may vary depending on demand. The commercial approach will be reviewed over the first 12 months of the contract. Suppliers will be expected to have a significant pool of expert resource to draw upon. Our intention is to give good notice of demand however there may be occasions when we require teams to mobilise quickly. Suppliers must be capable of working to the Agile methodology. Whilst not all development at CPS is Agile, the majority is with an ambition to do more. Work is initially likely to focus on discoveries, user interface and user experience, but this may vary depending on demand and the outcome of discoveries. The Contract shall commence on the 19th day of December 2023 and the expiry date will be the 18th day of June 2025. We reserve the option to extend the Call-Off contract by up to 4 x 12 months. The total contract value shall be PS25million to PS50million ex-VAT (for all 3 winning supplier contracts, including all options). Key technologies used are: - AWS - Azure - .Net Core - C# - JavaScript - SQL
