As part of the project works the Principal Contractor is required to organise an early 'Initial' pre-site start Asbestos Survey / Report within the NLB estate via and UKAS accredited asbestos company to identify and hopefully remove any asbestos containing materials before Contractor's personnel arrive on site. During the proposed works, it is essential that the Aids to Navigation are not prevented from operating at any stage that they are required. Details will be provided on the basic operation of these items to allow the Contractor to prevent his operatives from affecting the Aids to Navigation. For detailed description of the works refer to the Bill of Quantities. A site visit is planned for 8th September 2022. All tenderers should confirm attendance including names and mobile numbers of representatives attending site by Monday 5th September 2022, via Delta.) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
