## Notice

As we look to the future, the British Library wants to develop a shared vision and actionable strategy to improve the quality of experience for our users, ensuring our future web provision meets the needs and interests of our audiences and supports our corporate objectives. This tender is intended to support us in the first step in that process. We are seeking to commission a partner to work with us to carry out a discovery process and: -Build a shared understanding of the current state and performance of our web offer in meeting user needs, across a range of key metrics -Support the stakeholders and build their understanding of: oKey aspects of current best practice in the design and management of web services. oThe nature and scale of opportunity for the British Library, both to improve the offer and increase our effectiveness. -Agree a mandate for change and high-level, actionable recommendations, both short and long term to improve the digital experience for our users. This is a foundational piece of work that should both educate and inspire the stakeholders, support them to develop an ambitious but practical vision and give them the confidence to move forwards. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
