## Summary

The procurement process for the CCTV Capability for the Worthy Down under Project Wellesley is led by the Ministry of Defence, based in Andover, Hampshire, England. The project falls under the closed-circuit television services industry category and is currently at the Award stage. The total contract value is £138,153, and the contract period commences on 3rd January 2022, lasting until 2nd January 2025. The tender, initiated through a selective procurement method by way of a call-off from a framework agreement, closed on 26th November 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in technology solutions, particularly those focusing on CCTV systems and maintenance support. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) well-versed in modernising video surveillance technologies may find this contract particularly appealing, as it requires strong technical capabilities and an understanding of effective monitoring systems. Businesses that can demonstrate experience in providing high-quality video solutions and ongoing support will be well-positioned to compete for similar contracts in the future.

## Notice

DCLPA require the ability from staffed control rooms to internally observe and monitor, record and playback close-up, quality video images; and transmit these to monitors to fulfil the role of providing effective debriefs to students for learning and development needs. The current depreciated CCTV system has the potential of becoming unreliable, in addition the current software is out-of-date. Therefore the RWEs require for functionality and sustainability a tech refresh of the CCTV capabilities with two years maintenance and support.
