The contract has been awarded via direct award under the framework to ensure continuity of service and maximise the value of existing telematics infrastructure installed across DSFRS' vehicles. The current telematics hardware is supplier-specific and cannot be transferred to an alternative provider, making a change of supplier disproportionate in terms of cost, operational disruption, and fleet downtime.",
