## Summary

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking bids for the "Rough Sleeping Initiative 21/22: Lots D and H", aimed at addressing homelessness through the allocation of a £25,000 fund. This open tender process is currently active, with the deadline for submitting bids set for 17:00 on 8th October 2021. The successful contractors are expected to deliver services until the end of March 2022, as part of a strategy to help individuals transition away from rough sleeping. The initiative falls under the category of project management consultancy services, with the address for submissions located in Birmingham, England.

This tender presents valuable opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) looking to contribute to homelessness prevention and support services. Organisations that are innovative and focused on providing tailored solutions for individuals experiencing homelessness will be well-suited to compete. With a limit of £5,000 per individual bid, this initiative encourages a diverse range of service providers, enabling businesses to expand their reach and impact in the community.

## Notice

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), through the work of the Homelessness Taskforce, has successfully secured funding from the Rough Sleeping Initiative (year 4), for the region. This funding to the WMCA from Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is in addition and adds value to funds allocated to individual Local Authorities. The WMCA will liaise with partner Local Authorities to ensure relevance and strategic fit of services commissioned. The primary objective of the RSI Fund is to: - Help people sleeping rough off the streets - Help those who have moved off the streets to successfully progress away from rough sleeping - Prevent those in crisis, and at imminent risk, from sleeping rough The WMCA is now seeking submissions from relevant organisations, to deliver outcomes through the RSI Fund 2021-22 for the period up until 31st March 2022 where all funds must be dispersed by the WMCA by this date. This is being done through a single tender process made up of the following Lot: Lot D: Outcome focused, spot purchase fund available to organisations to enable individual solutions for people sleeping rough, allowing flexible, personal planning and delivery. Organisations who are not already delivering under Lot D in 2021/2022 (awarded via a previous tender) may bid for this Lot. We are limiting individual bids to PS5,000 in order to assure a spread of provision and outcomes and there is a total of PS25,000 available. In order to access the documents and submit a bid please do so through BravoSolution, the WMCA's e-tendering portal (https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk). The tender reference is itt_987.
