## Notice

The FSA wishes to appoint a supplier to develop & deliver food and feed safety training to PHAs & LAs. The provision of training for local authorities (LAs) and port health authorities (PHAs) is key to our role as the Central Competent Authority (CCA) for food and feed safety in helping ensure that official food and feed controls and related activities are undertaken consistently and that they are effective in safeguarding public and animal health and consumer protection. Such training will help ensure that enforcement officers have the necessary expertise, knowledge, capability and resilience to undertake their duties and help drive up sustained levels of business compliance.
