With our partners we have developed a common database on corporate performance on deforestation, conversion and human rights abuses aligned with industry standard guidance and corporate best practice outlined by the Accountability Framework. This database is designed to provide the standardised data and metrics on key companies needed by the finance sector to move towards deforestation-free portfolios. The project works closely with representatives from key financial institutions to ensure that it is effectively designed to support financial decision-making. The successful organisation will bring technical expertise to successfully transition the database, ETLs and existing processes from a graph to Global Canopy's relational database, while still meeting user needs to ensure the success and ultimate impact of the project.
