The works involve the repair and stabilisation of the river bank due to current bank slumping. Repair works will be limited to 10 metres of the main river bank and must be undertaken using only natural materials, as per an FRA13 exemption. It is designed to restore and reconnect the river and river corridors through the urban reaches of both Grantham and Sleaford, consisting of the delivery of 14 projects, over 2 river corridors, running through two towns.
