The proposed works are to assist in the relocation of a commercial horticultural nursery facility to Idless Woods. Works will include the supply and installation of suitable frame and glazing suitable to with stand exposure to extreme weather conditions due to the exposed location within Cornwall. The design will also incorporate necessary ventilation requirement for each greenhouse. An option to incorporate automatic openings for ventilation will be considered. Materials supplied and installed are to be of commercial horticultural nursery quality. Domestic quality products will not be accepted. An appropriate base is to be specified by the successful contractor and provided to Truro City Council, this element of work is anticipated to be undertaken by others ahead of the supply and installation of glass houses, although costs for this work will be considered as an additional item that may or may not be incorporated with the works. Construction of the base will not form part of the works under this project. Scoring and evaluation criteria is detailed in the attached ITT document .
