SERVICE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The aim of the service is to: * reduce the number of children and young people in need of statutory interventions * reduce the number of children and young people who are referred to the Edge of Care Team. * Reduce the number of children and young people being placed in care; * Evidence the benefits realisation of the service * Reduce the incidents of domestic abuse * Improve family relationships, for the child(ren)/young person(s). * Support the safeguarding of children and young people * Reduce the amount of time that children are subject to child protection and child in need plans * Prevent re-referrals; * Increase the resilience of families * Increase the levels of sustainable step downs
