This initiative is in response to logistics and warehouse sector requiring potential employees to be in possession of a Fork Lift truck certificate. The successful supplier will facilitate 100 participants in achieving an ITSSAR accredited Fork Lift Truck driver certificate where driving tuition, training and tests will all be delivered. The programme must be designed to aid retention and candidates will be supported during this process and also include links to local employment vacancies. Birmingham City Council, on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (Birmingham and Solihull District), invites providers to make an application to be considered to provide and facilitate the Fork Lift Truck driving certificate. The contract has a maximum budget of PS34,000 to deliver training to 100 candidates. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this tender process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest and download details.
