The Trust has over 8,000 employees across multiple sites and requires the successful supplier to mobilise for a go-live date of 1st December 2024. The Trust envisions an initial contract term of 2 years with 2 possible 1-year extensions, providing potential for stable, long-term business growth for suitable service providers. ## Notice Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) are the Mental Health & Learning Disability NHS Trust for County Durham and Darlington, Teesside, North Yorkshire, York and Selby. Along with partners, they deliver support to people in their own homes, and from community and hospital-based premises. From education and prevention, to crisis and specialist care -their talented and compassionate teams work in partnership with patients, communities and partners to help the people of our region feel safe, understood, believed in and cared for. TEWV have more than 8,000 employees that work across more than 100 sites. In addition to their corporate teams, the remaining services of the Trust are divided into two Care Group Boards; Durham, Tees Valley and Forensic Service Care Group Board and North Yorkshire and York Care Group Board. They provide services into a number of HM Prisons in the North East, Cumbria, Hull and Humber. TEWV currently have a fully managed outsourced service provider to deliver Occupational Health Services to their workforce. Under this agreement they utilise a range of services including, management referrals, health screening, immunisations, vaccinations and physiotherapy and MSK services. The services are provided predominantly on a virtual basis except for those that require face to face such as physiotherapy, immunisations, and exceptional cases. The current Occupational Health activity levels are: Activity Over 6 month period Pre-Employment Health Questionnaires - Paper 779 Pre-Employment Telephone Appointments 14 Needlestick reviews 22 Occupational Health Advisor Master Days ** 192 Occupational Health Advisor Case Reviews 4 Occupational Health Physician Appointments 35 Occupational Health Physician Case Reviews 4 Occupational Health Nurse Master Days * 132 Ill Health Retirement 6 *Occupational Health Nurse Master days offer approx. 18 Appointments per day. E.g. Immunisations and new starter checks. Occupational Health Advisor Master day offer approx. 6 - 8 appointments per day. In addition to this core occupational health service the organisation operate an Employee Assistance programme via VivUp and have in-house staff support and staff psychological services offering individual and group interventions. The intention is to continue utilising these services and therefore they are not in scope. Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) require the successful supplier to mobilise for a smooth transition for a go live date of 1st December 2024.
