## Summary

The Croydon Council is seeking tenders for the contract titled "606/2017 - Supervised Contact for Children in Care and their Families." This procurement process falls within the health and social work services category and is located in London, United Kingdom. Currently in the award stage, the successful bidder will provide supervised contact services for children in care over an initial contract period of two years, with the option to extend for an additional year. Tenders were due by 12.00 noon on 17th July 2017, and the contract value is approximately £960,000, with a minimum threshold of £800,000. The procurement method employed is the Open procedure, evaluating bids based on the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT).

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in social care and related services, particularly those able to meet the London Living Wage requirement. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are well-positioned to compete, especially those with experience in providing similar supervised contact services. As Croydon Council transitions from a framework agreement to a single provider model, successful competitors may also explore potential consortium arrangements or subcontracting opportunities, further enhancing their business growth prospects.
