Partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and HSBC, CIP supports the commercialisation of low carbon technologies, products, and services which contributes to the success of the Government's commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2050. The aim of the CIP project is to create and develop a sustainable cleantech innovation SME cluster at Tyseley Energy Park, Birmingham. CIP is now looking for experts in early stage idea/business development to develop and deliver a bespoke support programme covering one, several or all of the below areas: 1. Business development 2. Investment & funding 3. Finance 4. Scaling & opportunities 5. Business skills 6. Marketing & communication 7. Human resources 8. 1 to 1 and group mentoring (optional) It is anticipated that the business support will be delivered using a hybrid approach (e.g. some sessions will be delivered face to face and others will be delivered online) with the majority being face to face based at either Tyseley Energy Park, Birmingham or the University of Birmingham Edgbaston Campus. The support programme will be delivered in February and March 2023 to ERDF eligible businesses. As part of the CIP programme these businesses will also have access to incubation space and grants to support their business development.
