## Summary

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in London has completed a procurement process for the project titled "Addressing Impediments to Digital Trade." This project aimed to explore barriers to digital trade through an academic conference and publishing proceedings, designed to bolster the UK's leadership in global digital trade discussions. The contract, valued at £80,000, was awarded on 19 November 2020, following an open procurement method, and the services were to be delivered until 1 April 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in educational and consultancy services, particularly those focused on digital trade, law, and marketing. Successful bidders could have benefited from increased visibility and credibility by associating with a government project, while also contributing to shaping future digital trade policies that impact various sectors on a global scale.
