## Summary

The University of Chester is conducting a procurement process for the supply and delivery of a Laser Engraving/Marking System and related accessories, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This tender aims to secure a full, flexible system with a minimum of two years of support and maintenance. The procurement is currently in the Award stage, with the contract set to commence on 22nd August 2018, running until 31st October 2019. The tender period concluded on 30th July 2018 and involves a total contract value of £40,000, situated in the North West region of England within the goods industry category, specifically relating to laser technology.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in laser technology and manufacturing equipment. Companies that design or supply laser engraving systems, accessories, or related software solutions would be well-positioned to compete. Furthermore, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, given the procurement method of an open procedure, which aims to ensure a competitive bidding process and inclusivity for potential suppliers. Interested suppliers should ensure they register on the University’s e-tendering portal, In-Tend, to access future opportunities.
