Additional information: Exeter City Council is proposing to enter into a 3 year contract for a professional firm to provide the required Right to Buy Housing Valuations. Exeter City Council has approximately 5,000 properties within its Social Housing Portfolio. When a Tenant applies for the right to buy their own home, the Council as Landlord, is required to carry out a valuation within a set time table. There have been approximately 30 RTB applications over the last 6 month period. The Council cannot guarantee the quantity of valuations that will be required nor that each and every valuation will be allocated on this contract.
