In its first phase between April 2016 and July 2018, the YPP project supported around 13,000 young people assisting over 4,200 of these participants into positive Education, Training or Employment outcomes. The Council and its YPP partners are now commencing an extended phase of project delivery which will run up to October 2021, and as part of this, the Council is now seeking to commission the delivery of P0607 Specialist wrap around service for young people with mental health support needs. This Contract will provide a mental health service to deliver flexible wrap around support services to young people on the YPP programme who have additional mental health support needs. The provider is required to work with, and support NEET (unemployed and economically inactive) young people (15-29) with identified mental health needs who have been referred by other YPP providers.
