## Summary

The University of Sheffield, with funding from the Science and Technology Facilities Council, is seeking a mixed signal high-speed oscilloscope for quantum sensing applications in Yorkshire and the Humber, United Kingdom. The procurement stage is an open tender with a contract period starting on December 1, 2022, and ending on December 2, 2022. The tender deadline is November 11, 2022. This opportunity falls under the industry category of Oscilloscopes and has a contract value of £60,000.

This tender from the University of Sheffield offers an opportunity for businesses involved in the supply of electronic equipment, particularly oscilloscopes, to compete and potentially secure a contract. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and businesses with expertise in quantum sensing or high-speed signal processing are well-suited to participate in this procurement process. The University is actively seeking suppliers through an open tender process to fulfil their technological requirements related to quantum sensors and high-speed signal analysis.

## Notice

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at The University of Sheffield, with funding from the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) requires a mixed signal high speed oscilloscope. The Quantum Sensors for the Hidden Sector (QSHS) is building a test facility to provide state of the art quantum sensing at or below the standard quantum limit. This will drive the development of the next generation of sensors to seek low mass 'hidden-sector' particles. If found, these may solve several fundamental mysteries in physics. These sensors may also find commercial application in the fields of microwave and radar. A mixed signal high speed oscilloscope will provide a mechanism to look for high frequency signals in the time domain. Not only will this prove useful for looking at the signals themselves, but it would be invaluable for detecting intermittent noise that may not be visible using standard frequency analysis techniques. This is an open exercise. The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University's e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffield If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend system, this can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffield Completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system.
