Granicus GovDelivery allows the Communications team to produce targeted, accessible and effective communications to a wide audience without the design, functionality and evaluation limitations that are present using other tools (e.g. Word and other less effective packages). It has been used to produce professional-looking subject-matter newsletters, for example on hate crime, to be distributed amongst internal and external stakeholders; for producing the weekly internal bulletin, The Brief; and for Area newsletters that are sent directly to members of the public after registering for the service. Aside from producing more effective and engaging content, Granicus provides us with a wealth of analytical data that was simply not available previously.
