The North Yorkshire Council aims to ensure the continuous and safe operation of the swing bridges, offering a chance for service providers to contribute to critical infrastructure maintenance in the region. ## Notice The Bridges comprise the following: - Selby Swing Bridges o Selby Town Swing Bridge, o Cawood Swing Bridge, o A63 Bypass Swing Bridge, and - Whitby Swing Bridge The service objectives for the procurement exercise are as follows: * Carry out the maintenance tasks for the operation of each bridge in accordance with the requirements in the Bridge Operating and Maintenance Manual (O&M Manual). * Maintenance tasks to be carried out at the intervals defined in the O&M manuals. * Provide an emergency 24-hour call out service for all bridges to provide the services as required.
