## Summary

The NHS Enfield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is currently conducting a tender (PRJ 773) for the provision of the AQP Community Ophthalmology Service, aimed at delivering community-based outpatient services for adults suffering from non-urgent ophthalmic conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts. The procurement process is at the tender stage, with the tender period set to close on 6th May 2019. The contract is scheduled to commence on 29th August 2019 and will run until 27th August 2021. This service falls under the health and social work services category, specifically classified under CPV code 85000000, and will be located in London, United Kingdom. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, allowing all qualified providers to submit proposals.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses, particularly those specialising in healthcare services and ophthalmology, to expand their service offerings and client base. Companies with expertise in providing outpatient care and surgical services would be well-suited to compete, especially those looking to establish themselves within the public health sector under the 'Any Qualified Provider' model. The initiative encourages providers to offer core services while also allowing them to propose additional optional services, enabling them to differentiate their proposals and meet diverse patient needs.
