Barriers include, but are not limited to financial and job insecurity, in-work poverty, poor progression rates and limited take up of training and development opportunities. Through this commission, WYCC seeks to procure the delivery of a number of pilot projects which seek to expose and address these and other barriers faced by employed adults in low-paid employment that present a major obstacle to labour market progression.
